Why idols?
We crave something tangible to be satisfied or fulfilled
We question if God has our best interest
We don’t keep ourselves in love with God

Idols become gods

“Then say to him, ‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to say to you: Let my people go, so that they may worship me in the wilderness.” – Exodus 7:16 NIV

Everyone worships something or someone

The act of loving God back in action and attitude by keeping our focus on Him

Chases idols of the heart away
Is the way we experience God and His love
Gives us influence for generations

You will not worship God if you don’t find fulfillment or satisfaction in Him
